We’re excited to introduce the Ikigai Community Hub – a brand new, inclusive space designed exclusively for NDIS participants. This is more than a building – it’s a vibrant, supportive environment where individuals can learn, grow, express themselves, and connect with others.
Whether you want to build life skills, explore creative interests, make new friends, or prepare for supported employment, we’re here to walk beside you on your journey.
At Ikigai Community Care, our values are guided by purpose, presence, and the belief that every person deserves to live with meaning and connection. These values shape everything we do — for our participants, our team, and the way we walk through the world.
Daily living skills, social development, and work readiness programs tailored to individual goals.
From art and craft to woodworking and hands-on projects, our creative areas are filled with opportunity.
Connect with nature and learn how to grow your own food in our peaceful garden space.
Ideal for cooking sessions, meal planning, and nutrition programs.
A welcoming, quiet area for self-regulation, relaxation, and mindfulness.
Participants learn flower arranging and design, and take part in our weekly flower delivery service to local businesses. A beautiful way to build confidence and community connection.
Our secure shredding service helps participants gain work-ready skills. Shredded paper is repurposed into handmade seeded paper and fire starters – promoting sustainability, creativity, and a circular approach to learning.
We provide a calm, private area for visiting Allied Health Specialists, so participants can access therapy and support in a familiar environment.
Every day includes a movement to music or exercise session, helping us keep our bodies active and our energy flowing in a fun, inclusive way.
We believe in building real friendships and exploring the world around us. Enjoy bush BBQs, fun days out in Heathcote, and adventures to places like Pink Cliffs — all while building confidence, independence, and joyful memories.
The Ikigai Community Hub is open to NDIS participants seeking a safe, creative, and purposeful space. Whether you’re exploring new experiences, building independence, or developing job skills, you’re welcome here.
Come see the space and meet the team!

The Ikigai Storehouse is our dedicated supported employment space, designed for NDIS participants to explore retail, product-based learning, and hands-on job readiness in a warm and empowering environment.
This is where our participants have the opportunity to create, package, and sell handmade items, build confidence in customer service and sales, and develop real work skills — all with the support and encouragement of our team.
Here, every day is full of purposeful activity:
Our public-facing retail space where participants showcase their handmade products and stock beautiful items from premium local brands like Rich Glen, Doterra, Myles Gray, and Butterfly Stitches.
Participants learn to greet customers, operate the EFTPOS system, manage orders, and practice professional communication.
From creating eco fire starters and seeded paper to assembling flower bundles and gift sets, participants are involved in hands-on, meaningful work that contributes directly to our store.
We support individuals to confidently process sales, online orders, and pack items for delivery.
The Storehouse is a stepping stone for those looking to gain confidence, develop independence, and prepare for future employment.
The Ikigai Community Hub and Storehouse are two sides of the same supportive journey.
At the Hub, participants build foundational life and social skills, explore creativity, and engage in programs designed to nurture confidence and wellbeing — including cooking, flower arranging, woodwork, and movement to music.
At the Storehouse, those same skills are applied in a real-world setting — turning creativity into products, practice into purpose, and participation into pride. Whether someone is crafting an item, working the shop floor, or packing an order, they are contributing to something meaningful, all within a safe and supported environment.
Together, the Hub and Storehouse offer a unique pathway: from self-expression and skill-building, to confidence, connection, and supported employment.
